Good Morning principal, teachers and fellow students
Today I am going to talk about how sports affect my personal development.
It’s (my) pleasure to be here with you all today.
Sport teaches me incredibly important lessons about life.
It teaches me (not only) about confidence, time management skills, but also about learning to be resilient and graceful when (facing failures),
Playing sports can also relieve my stress from heavy school works so it is very important to me.
Firstly, how (can) sports (help) build (up) my confidence?
I (am) used to (playing) sport in the track and field team and I enjoyed it very much.The coach always gives us (some) challenging tasks with different difficulties (easy, medium and hard). The coach provided opportunities for us to show (our) initiative and decisions(,) making as we can choose one of the tasks to challenge ourselves When I finished the tasks on time, I feel like I can (achieve) (everything).
As long as I got success in sport, my ability and confidence were improved so I tend to try a more difficult one on the following day. (Moreover), sports improve my physical fitness.I can be more assured during the game or task because of a higher fitness level. (I think sports can enhance my confidence effectively.)
Second, there (were) very (few) direct (instructions) about the most difficult tasks so I have trouble (in) (finishing) them sometimes.I am frustrated about not being successful but I didn’t give up as my confidence was improved during completing the easier tasks
At that time, I tried to do the task again because I think practice make perfect
In addition, I will try to find out some (alternative) ways to (shorten) (the time) (required).If I cannot solve this problem by myself, I would ask the coach or friends who had finished the tasks on time for help.
